The Have-Nots
After a good 3 week delay, with snow on the ground as late as April 14th -- SPRING has finally sprung, just in time for Mother's Day! And with Spring comes the return of prolific animal and bird life and plentiful supplies of food.
There are the "haves" ---
And the "have-nots" ---
Quaker says, "Life isn't fair in the 'Jenny Craig' pasture!"

You're just a season behind up there - we're in full-scale blast-furnace summer down here. Bet you can't wait. It's 90-something out there now.
Poor little Quaker. I'm sure it's as tough on you to keep him in the dry lot as it is on him to be there. I'll say it for him since he might be holding a grudge - Happy Mother's Day.
We love painted ponies! And we know the saga of the haves and have-nots - so sending a big hug to Quaker and as Linda said - Happy Mother's Day! You're keeping that pony healthy and I can't wait to see the "after" photos!
